Sessions and Fees

I usually meet people once a week, at a mutually agreeable time, in Waterford Health Park. There are no particular guidelines as to how many counselling sessions someone needs to attend before they find therapy beneficial as each person is different and it can depend on the reason why someone is seeking counselling in the first place.

I generally would see someone for 6 sessions before a mutual review and discussion on how to proceed, or not, as the case may be. However, if one does not find the therapy helpful, or feels that one or two sessions has been of benefit, one is entitled to terminate counselling at any time without explanation.

A counselling session generally lasts around one hour and the cost is €60 per session. The cost for couple counselling is €80. Unfortunately, I'm unable to offer concessions to Medical Card holders.

Please note that I do charge full fee for missed appointments or where 48 hours of notice is not given for cancellations.
