Sessions and Fees
I usually meet people once a week or once a fortnight at a mutually agreeable time in Waterford Health Park. There are no particular guidelines as to how many counselling sessions one needs to attend before they find therapy beneficial as each person is different and it can depend on a number of variables, such as the reason why one is seeking counselling in the first place.
Ideally, I would see someone for a minimum of 6 sessions before a mutual review and discussion on how to proceed, or not, as the case may be. Research shows that 6-to-8 counselling sessions are an optimum number for therapy to be of some benefit.
A counselling session generally lasts around 50 minutes and my fee is €70 per session. Unfortunately, I'm unable to offer concessions to medical card holders. Payment is made directly to myself - by cash or card - following each session or can be pre-payed online (see below).
Reduced Rates: Six counselling sessions available for the price of 5. You can avail of the offer of 6 counselling sessions for a total €350 when you pay the full fee at the initial session or block-book using the online system below. To avail of this in person just mention this offer when booking (or during) your first session.
Alternatively. if you attend for five consecutive sessions, there will be no charge for the sixth. Both of these incentive offers essentially mean that the overall cost of each counselling session is less than €60.
Unfortunately I'm unable to offer any further concessions other than the above and cannot accept Medical Cards.
Please note that I do charge full fee for missed appointments or where 48 hours of notice is not given for cancellations.
Also I only work with people on an individual basis and do not provide couples/relationship therapy.

When you prepay a session I will email you back within 24 hours with potential appointment times .
